Triangles Wanted!

  My  lovely teacher Mrs. Buckmaster claims she will give $1000 dollars to anyone how can make a right equilateral triangle. She came in to class with her check book and everything. If you find that you have made an equilateral triangle please post a commit immediately and if I reply then you might just have your self $1000. Good Luck!!!


A Challenge (da-da-da-daaaa)

  Sierra wants to know how much money you would have to pay to have a guarantee that you will win the North Carolina power ball lottery. For the lottery you have to guess 5 numbers out of 50 to go on a ticket. Then you have to choose 1 more number to be your power ball number. To win you have to get the first five numbers correct and then you have to get the power ball number correct. If you don’t then you don’t win. Each lottery ticket (the thing that you put your number on) cost $1. Think of all the possible lottery tickets and figure out what the cost would be.

Hint: for every first combination of numbers there is 50 different power ball numbers so that would already be  $50.

Pies for….. Peoples

  Meghan likes pies.  She makes 13 pies every week for a year. Half of the pies she makes  (by the end of the year) get eaten. Meghan keep 46 pies at  the end of the year. She gives the remaining to the Greensboro Urban Ministry (GUM). GUM gives 75 pies  back. How many pies does Meghan have now? How many pies does GUM have now?

P.S. This is the longest word problem I think I’ve ever written.

My Brothers!!

  I have two brothers. Their names are Joshua and Landon. They have a lot of toys so I did this problem just for them.

   Landon and Joshua have 100 toys together. Meghan has 66  toys and Odera has 78 toys. To find the amount of toys Landon has do this: Add Meghan’s toys and Oderas toys together then divde by 12 and last  Multiply that number by 5. How many toys does Landon have? How many toys does  Joshua?
